I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

As a kids she I raised sheep, rabbits and chickens. 

I love art, cooking my community - both near and far.

 

I truly believe that a more centralized, equitable and just food system will bring healthier communities and stronger economies.

Most of all food is spiritual and cultural and it's my way of communicating to, connecting with and understanding the world.

My food is seasonal and utilizes as many local ingredients as possible. 
This is non-negotiable.
